Sandy is a writer and editor with deep roots in international development, agriculture, health and the environment. Passionate about communicating complex issues clearly, she collaborates with our clients, designers and researchers to craft compelling stories and snappy copy, using plain and engaging language that speaks to everyone. One of her favorite projects with Rhizome was writing stories about successful land conservation projects for our redesign of the Jefferson Land Trust website.
Sandy has worked and travelled in over 20 countries — not bad for a farm girl from Saskatchewan. She holds a Master’s degree in International Education and studied information design and data visualization at the prestigious Central Saint Martins arts and design college in London. She lives in beautiful West Seattle where she can see all the way to the horizon.
