With 16 years of communications and brand development experience, Sunshine specializes in helping organizations build strong brands, develop and launch new products and manage public relations programs.

Sunshine previously served as managing supervisor in the Portland office of Fleishman-Hillard International, one of the largest PR firms in the United States. Before Fleishman-Hillard, Sunshine was vice president at Parker LePla, an integrated branding firm. She oversaw product launches, employee communications, positioning, naming, media and analyst relations, strategic planning, customer profiling and brand development.

Sunshine also worked as a marketing analyst at SAFECO Life where she earned her series 6 and 63 securities licenses.  She held sales and marketing positions at high-tech startup HBS International and UNUM, a life insurance company.

Sunshine received her MBA from Portland State University, with an emphasis in food marketing through the Food Innovation Leadership Center. She earned a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound, where she currently serves on the Board of Trustees.
