Little known fact about my childhood: Rather than setting up a lemonade stand as a kid, Chris conscripted her brother to write and illustrate a collection of stories together as their first entrepreneurial venture. They set up a Bookstand in the front yard, where an enthusiastic buyer took the entire lot for $5 with the encouragement to “keep on writing, you two!”
