Little known fact about my childhood: Kate once fit 11 teenage girls into her Volkswagen Beatle. She continues to call on these spatial awareness skills every time she packs for a photo or video shoot.
Collaborator Since: 2009
Kate created her first photographic masterpiece of Mr. Bun Bun at the age of 12 and has never lost her love of photography. She studied at the University of Washington and graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Seattle. In 2012, she expanded her creative repertoire to include video, becoming adept at producing, directing, shooting, and editing.
Today, Kate is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker with experience capturing people, food, corporate and nonprofit stories, both on location and in the studio. She is a creative problem solver who brings warmth, professionalism and depth to every collaboration. Kate has a knack for helping subjects of all experience levels feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera and has the somewhat rare ability to remain calm when everyone else is losing it—a skill that comes in particularly handy on long production days.
Kate’s extensive client list includes AAA, American Egg Board, Buick, Costco, Harborview Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, Starbucks and Washington State Fire Fighters.
