Building strong websites to support community-minded organizations
Valley Cultural Foundation
“The Rhizome Collaborative team was able to breathe new life into our website while still maintaining the integrity and mission of our organization. The much needed update allowed for a more beautiful and user friendly experience for all our potential visitors and we are thrilled with the results.”
Rhizome has collaborated with the Valley Cultural Foundation (VCF) for over 16 years. VCF engages the public with arts and entertainment experiences as the second-largest performing arts non-profit organization in Southern California. Their highly professional programs include concerts, movies, and children’s programs. They produce events that draw 5,000-7,500 people every weekend and a Fourth of July Extravaganza featuring music and fireworks, that brings crowds of 60,000-70,000 together each year. Their online virtual programs include: Concerts on the Couch, Drive-up Movies, Battle of the Bands, and a 5K digital run!

St. Louis County Library Foundation
As a partner to the I.F. team, we worked collaboratively with the St. Louis County Library Foundation’s stakeholders and decided to feature more of the metrics and programs that the non-profit supports. This would ensure donors and supporters of the library knew how their money was spent and where the biggest impacts of success were.
The key to the design of this site was the combination of stunning visuals and clever copywriting. We gleaned gems from our discussions and came up with an inspirational theme for the site—“Invigorating discovery, stimulating minds, and enriching lives.”
